Holiday Worship Schedule & Events

 

 

 

Sunday, November 20th

· All Church Thanksgiving Potluck Dinner:  The dinner is immediately after    morning worship.  Please bring a meat dish and vegetable or a salad and dessert.  This is also Friends Day so bring “to share” size dishes.

· Super Sack Sunday:  Please return your sacks to the table in the gym.  See the Holiday Mission Efforts page for more information.

· Friends Day:  Invite friends and family to join us for this special day of fellowship and Thanksgiving.

· Community Thanksgiving Service:  This year the community wide service will be at the First Baptist Church in Jenks at 6:00 p.m.  Everyone is invited.  See the Holiday Mission Efforts page about the food drive taking place in conjunction with this service .

 Sunday, November 27th

· Family Worship:  No children’s classes, staffed nursery only.  No classes or small groups Sunday night.

· Angel Tree Names Available:  The Angle Tree is filled with names of children who need gifts for Christmas.  Please see the Holiday Mission Efforts page for more information.

 Wednesday, November 30th

· Hanging of the Green:  We will gather at the ministry center at 6:30 p.m. to decorate for the Christmas holiday.  Come enjoy a cup of hot chocolate, a tasty cookie and help us “deck the halls.”

 Sunday, December 11th

· Adult Christmas Gathering:  This year we will enjoy a potluck dinner and the play “The Trail of Ebenezer Scrooge,” performed by the Sapulpa Community Theater.  The cost is $5.  Dinner begins at 6:30 p.m. and the play will begin at 7:00 p.m.  Bring your favorite holiday dish to share.

· Angel Tree Gifts Due:  Please return your Angel Tree gifts to the tree in the atrium.

 Wednesday, December 14th

· Youth Group Christmas Party:  The party is at 6:30 p.m. in the Youth Café.

 

 Sunday, December 18th

· Children’s Christmas Program:  The Children’s Christmas Program begins at 6:00 p.m. in the Jenks Church gym. (Rehearsals are Wednesday, December 14^th, at 6:30 p.m. in the gym and on Saturday, December 17^th, at 10:00 a.m. in the gym.)

 Sunday, December 25th

· Family Worship:  Fellowship begins at 9:00 a.m. Worship begins at 10:00 a.m.  No children’s classes, staffed nursery only.  No classes or small groups Sunday night.
